Shields always seemed much more clean cut than his good friends who threw down for him at Strikeforce Nashille. He also has such a different style. But he is a heckuva fighter in the cage. He's no striker, but he's a winner.
And sounds like he craves the chicken dinner, too.

There are so many fighters in the UFC now. It's almost like it doesn't even need to be mentioned to the public if it's anything under 9 months. |

I just rewatched the 53 second Ellenberger fight.
Good lord he looked terrible. Those takedown attempts were embarassing, not to mention the KO and shooting in on the ref.

Meh, personally I think he's one of the most overrated fighters in the UFCs WW division, if not the entire UFC.
Something about him I just don't like. Probably his padded record from Shooto, Rumble on the Rock, EliteXC, etc. That and his terribly boring style. |

It is likely that he and the Diva brothers sit around, when they aren't training, and smoke pounds of weed and just talk about how weed needs to be completely legal cuz it's just a flower or what kind of Doritos go best with apple juice. That's what happens when you hang out with retarded 12 year olds stuck in grown up bodies.
Oh well, it's not like Shields is relevant in the UFC anyways. I must say that I won't miss watching him fight. He is 45% bump n' grind, 45% dry hump and pray, 10% spastic retard striking. I hope he decides to retire during his suspension. His presence is not needed anywhere.
