I simply said that Jon Jones is unwilling to extend anyone the opportunities that he was given coming up. It's a good thing Shogun didn't feel the same way about name value, otherwise he might have refused Jones as a replacement.

No kidding, Anderson was the fight the fans wanted to see so I think he should be willing to give the fans the fights they want to see at least as far as MW goes.

He also said yes to Machida when he was 1-2, Silva hasn't said yes to him, Chael couldn't win a fight at 205 to save his life, and DC is out of the division and not in the company.
All I'm hearing on this board is Davis, Glover, and Gustaf aren't good enough for title shots. I must be living in some bizzaro world where Chael, Anderson Silva, and Daniel Cormier deserve shots over guys who fight in the UFC LHW division. |
