and exactly how many good fighters were in the UFC's MW division in 2004? Can you name me even one guy that would have deserved a shot more than Anderson?

I can name a few that are on par with Weidman or above in terms of being worthy of a title shot:

Bisping, Belcher and Boetsch.

Why is Weidman so much more deserving than the others?

He's not. I doubt Anderson will want the fight after he beats Boetsch aswell, cos whilst Boetsch has some good (but undeserving) wins he's still a no name. They should have just booked Weidman V Bisping or Weidman V Belfort.

That would be the best situation because if he beat either of those two then he'd have a legitimate name on his record that the casual fans know.

Can't wait for SF to come in and disrupt the MW division though. Don't see Weidman getting past Jacare.

Who has Jacare beat? Robbie Lawler?

Jacare won't get past anyone of the current UFC MW contenders. Not Bisping, Weidman, Belcher.. well, maybe Boetch.

Because unlike them, when he's at full health and not drained Weidman has looked pretty much unstoppable.

Let's see if Belcher can beat Okami, someone actually good before we throw his hat in the race.

just write what you mean instead: YOU don't care about Weidman.
Online MMA fans (ones who post on message boards etc) know who Weidman is. Online fans make up a small portion of pay-per-view buys. Weidman's only fight where anyone was watching was the opening bout of a Fox card. You're going to do that, and then hotshot him into a main event? Give him a good MW, and if he beats him, then give him the shot.

How would that be hilarious? Timmy B lost his fight to Lombard as far as I'm concerned. I hope Chris dominates Timmy B.

Are you serious? What did Lombard do in that fight to warrant the victory? That was one of the most disappointing performances I have ever seen.

He landed the better shots. What did Timmy do accept move around more? Pointless movement that you don't do shit with doesn't get your brownie points. It was a shitty fight, but Timmy didn't do shit except move around the cage more. I find it annoying how people consider pointless movement as being active.
