Remember when Nog made his now infamous comments about not wanting to train with homosexuals?
Maybe Dave Herman is gay... or a close friend, family member, training partner, etc. happens to be gay.
He went on with his whole jiu-jitsu-doesn't-work schtick for a while and really wanted to kick Nog's ass... BADLY.
Thing is, being there in Brazil, with the crowd going nuts and a well-past-prime Nog standing across the cage from him... Dave Herman lost his nerve.
He started having flashbacks to a well-past-prime Nog KOing Brendan Schaub and rocking-and-almost-putting-away Frank Mir(until, of course, Nog got greedy and went for the sub to try and prove a point).
Herman started coming to grips with the fact that if Nog could do that to someone as talented and decorated as Mir... it could happen to HIM, too!
And there was absolutely NO WAY that he was gonna get finished by a misguided homophobe who once tried to feed a carrot to a bus!
Herman got lost in the drama and starting figting-not-to-lose. And once the fight hit the ground, it didn't make any difference how good his grappling and sub-defence were... He was now in the deep end of the pool, and didn't have a chance of making it back out alive.
Does anyone wanna check the timeline of when Nog said what he said and when Herman started making his comments? I don't know if there's a correlation, but it sounds AT LEAST as interesting as this fight-fixing BS some of y'all seem to have a hard-on for.

At the momment of victory, with the broadcast of Black House camp celebration and Anderson crying like a baby, critics like "well, so they did not expect Big Nog to win?"
Now, the word is: the fight was fixed.
Really hard to make a deal and still get punched in the face. Or provide interpretation class and lessond on dramatic arts for all involved in that camp.
Everyone who states this fight was fixed and is just trash talking is forgiven. This is common.
Allucination shall be excused as well.

Big news: Following the scandal involving the Herman and Big Nog fight fixing, it was revealed Vitor Belfort got payed good money to lose to Jones Bones.
The evidence is, he is well known as one of the fastest and dedliest hands in this sport and never used then against Jones. After simulating a failed arm bar attempt, and get his face fully shredded by slicing elbows from the paying champ, with no defense response at all, he decides to... Pull guard to receive a little more well payed damage to enhance his already ugly wounds.

lol are u serious m8 ?! judges get payed off all the time in boxing and there is some fix fights in boxing also .. what makes u think it can`t happen in MMA ?!
I am saying most of the fights are not rigged at least on the fighter level .. maybe 1/100 fights are rigged ?! something like that
fights like Donald Cerrone vs nate diaz .. every time cerrone threw a leg kick he dropped him like a sack of shit lol yet he almost refused to engage and just stood there with little to no head movement .. I`ve never seen cerrone fight like that in all his fights I`ve seen .. the excuse that Nate diaz got in his head is a complete joke .. so he got in ur head and suddenly u forgot how to fight ?!

Lol at you. Who said anything about judges? The Big Nog fight was finished so was the crazy Jones/Belfort example I gave. What judges do have to do with this?
However, If we will start to consider fighters fixing fights here, seriously, there's nothing else to believe or to debate. It's the forum meltdown. It's the "whatever" moment.

A fighter common way of fighting is not garantee he'll do what expected everytime and there are countless crazy examples. When Maia or Big Nog wouldn't take their opponents down in order to try out their stand up game, being master grapplers, you found that suspicious too, right? Keep this line, Sherlock...
