T.J. Dillashaw vs. Mike Easton verbally agreed to for UFC on FOX 5 in Seattle

A bantamweight matchup between T.J. Dillashaw (6-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) and Mike Easton (13-1 MMA, 3-0 UFC) has been verbally agreed to for December's "UFC on FOX 5: Henderson vs. Diaz" event, and bout agreements are expected to be finalized shortly.

UFC officials recently announced the addition to the card.

UFC on FOX 5 takes place Dec. 8 at Seattle's KeyArena and features a headliner of UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson vs. top contender Nate Diaz. The evening's main card airs on FOX.

Dillashaw vs. Easton takes place on the evening's preliminary festivities, though UFC officials have yet to set an official bout order for the evening's undercard.

Dillashaw seeks his third-straight UFC win after posting victories over Vaughan Lee and Walel Watson. The Team Alpha Male product was a favorite to win "The Ultimate Fighter 14" but was upset by John Dodson in the series finale. The setback remains Dillashaw's lone professional loss, and he's since bounced back with the two wins.

Meanwhile, "The Hulk" Easton brings an eight-fight winning streak to the fight. A Team Lloyd Irvin and Alliance MMA fighter, Easton made his UFC debut in October 2011. He's since earned victories over Byron Bloodworth, Jared Papazian and Ivan Menjivar. While Easton's teammate, Dominick Cruz, is currently the UFC bantamweight champion, a win over a recognizable name like Dillahsaw would certainly earn him some added recognition in the weight class.

War Easton! Gotta go with the local boy for me!

Easton is amazing, I love everything about this guy, he's the definition of intensity, I got a feeling he's gonna rag doll Dillashaw.

I just hope Cruz is in Easton's corner, and Faber is in Dillashaw's so Cruz can let Urijah know Team Beta Male ain't shit.

Can someone tell me why this is on Fox instead of the highlight PPV of the year? lol

On paper to me this is definently the best we have. They are putting together fights which promise knockouts or epic fights. UFC is spot on latley. The Brazil card was arranged in the same way. There are so many interesting fighters who arent PPV fighters. They arent well known and they dont have a lot of great wins and great reputation. It doesnt mean that when you get the right combination, they cant put on a hell of a show with fireworks being promised. That's what they did with 153 and thats what they're doing with this one. Their work with the prospects has been flawless latley, with even guys like Glover, Weidman and Gustaf, who are highly ranked 'prospects', getting guided perfectly through their fights.

Up to 155, UFC is looking pretty dope.

EDIT: Shit, I didnt know the two TUF finales were on the same night, thats awesome. They could have even cheaped out and stuck them on the same card but they're going all out for the rest of 2012. Been a dope year so far.

I'm probably the best at keeping threads on topic of all time.

Dillashaw has this. He'll get stuffed at first but he'll end up getting the takedown eventually. Easton will tire out and Dillashaw will dominate for the rest of the fight. I don't see it being a barn-burner but a win is a win.

Yeah I'm kind of thinking Dillashaw takes it too. I might change my mind when I go back over their fights but I kind of see Easton being the type to tire and TJ edging out a wrestling match.
