Not a huge fan of WMMA, but I am a fan of Ronda. Not sure how well this will play out though.

This. The people dont even accept short guys fighting or even fat guys fighting, they surely dont accept women fighting. And people can say "aww your sexist". It might be sexist but its true. Women, 125-lbs, and 300+lbs are not going to be accepted in MMA for a long time, if ever. No matter what Dana thinks today or tomorrow because lord knows his word changes at the drop of a hat. Its not like Womens MMA changed today then where it was yesterday, after Rousey vs Santos, their is still nothing else out there that comes close, unless the UFC has been breeding MMA superwomen inside of a lab.

Woman's MMA ends up with some helpless woman fighter not ready for that level turtling up and getting beat on by a more advanced fighter.

Sure if given the chance they could evolve and formulate like 1 good division in 5 years. But as of right now WMMA has nothing to offer other than Rousey armbaring everyone.

I guess you could sign Ronda and give contenders a 1 fight contract and have like 3 women's fights a year with Ronda in each one of them.

I can only see this move right now as an appeasement for Rousey. Like a Dana trying to court Rousey move.

this would be HORRIBLE!!!!! UFC card watered down even further with shallow meaningless divisions. Might have been a reason the UFC was more popular when they didnt have 125 and 135 guys !

You can just skip the fights and events you don't want to watch.

This should not happen, if anything woman should have there own organzations. You don't see the NFL, NHL, NBA, MLB having woman's teams or showtime and HBO boxing showing woman fights. I have never had any interest in woman's mma at all. If you ask me the UFC is starting to go downhill, Dana's trying to make it so good that hes just ******* it up.

But in all seriousness this sucks and I hope this is one of the many things Dana doesn't keep his word on. If they put women on the same cards as men then it will be a disaster.

There is no difference between women fighting and men fighting besides how much it bothers you that a woman could kick your ass. This kind of stuff makes me disgusted to be lumped in as an mma fan.

That is not dead which can eternal lie and withs strange aeons even death may die.

It doesn't matter if you're right or wrong, what matters is what society thinks. Society doesn't want to see women fighting, therefore it's a bad business decision. Simple as that.
And i cant believe you think men and women's MMA is the same, men are obviously way more athletic/strong/skilled than women are at MMA. Open your eyes...
