Rashad will take it. His wrestling is too explosive.

Look this fight makes perfect sense he lost to Bader and Davis and really to Brilz and all those guys are much better wrestlers and fighters than Rashad.

I mean why wouldn't you want to spend 50 bucks to watch these two guys go at it.

You get to watch Nog lumber around the octagon like a drunk Frankenstein missing any and all power shots.

Or you get to see Rashad hold Nog against the cage making no damage what-so-ever in a man on man cuddling session.

I'm just so glad that the UFC didn't give Ryan Jimmo, Viny Magalhães , or Jimi Manuwa because really who needs to elevate talent when you can put on amazing fights like Nog vs Evans and Davis vs Griffin.

Rashad would own all of those guys....

This is a solid fight, I don't know why everybody is so confused about it. Rashad just lost a title shot and all the other contenders are booked so this is a sensible matchup. I expect Rashad to win quite easily, but then again he didn't look that great against Bones or Phil Davis.

It would surprise me. Given recent history of Silva and GSP, usually they end up going at least a half year between fights (aside from Silva/Bonnar as Silva was stepping up to help out UFC/Brazil). Plus whoever wins GSP/Condit would have to not really be banged up at all.

Regardless, I think they will try to pull out something good. The UFC usually wants something big Super Bowl weekend. They tried GSP/Diaz last year, and they originally wanted Bones/Hendo this year. Especially because their biggest show so far next year (Bones/Sonnen) comes at a bad time, as it will lose out on some buys due to Wrestlemania.

It might not happen but it could, it's too early a turn around for Junior, Jones is fighting in April, the Lightweight Champ fights in December, so it'd be an early turn around for them too, Cruz doesn't come back until March/April and I don't think they'd have the Flyweights as the main event since a bunch of fans don't like that weight for whatever reason.

So if they go with a title fight, it has to be 185, 170, 145, or 125 and they may go to Brazil in January, and would use Aldo/Edgar for it.

Why do they keep giving Lil Nog wrestlers? It's obvious that he won't be getting a title shot any time soon, and it's obvious that he has a hard time with good wrestlers, so why not use this good fighter to put on exciting fights at the very least? Lil Nog vs. Rampage, Henderson, Griffin, Teixeira, Shogun, Bonnar, Magalhaes, or even Vera or Thiago Silva. Some of those guys are booked for fights already, but they all would have the potential to be great fights.

This fight is just too predictable for me. Rashad all day long unless he decides to make it a stand up fight. I think that Rashad has better stand up and MMA wrestling than both Davis and Bader. We saw how those fights turned out for Lil Nog. Let's just hope that all of that experience Lil Nog has been getting against wrestlers pays off to the point where this fight is at least very competitive.

I like this fight.

From memory there wasn't even this many complaints when the Rashad V Tito fight was booked, and Nog wrecked Tito worse than Rash did. Now i'm going to take off my 'MMAmathematician badge' and give my opinion, Nog is very good off his back, he swept Phil atleast once from memory, he's got better hands than Rashad and he's a very seasoned veteran.

Lil Nog can pull it off IMO he has a 41% chance of victory.

Their weren't complaints about Rashad vs Tito because it was a replacement fight made on two weeks notice. The first had ended in a draw, Tito had just gotten a huge upset, Evans was coming off his long break and people had reason to care about that fight.
