I would rather see Overeem take on a UFC fight rather than an x-strikeforce one.

Bigfoot Silva is a UFC fighter with two fights so far. That's one more than Reem.

That is not the point i was making, i want to see Overeem tested against UFC quality fighters - Big Foot has lost and then beat a guy on one leg, all his best was in strikeforce.

I want to see both take on proven UFC fighters.

Silva took on Velasquez and lost, then knocked Browne out in the first round. Reem beat an ex-champ in his first fight since losing the belt, first round stoppage.

They've both fought proven UFC fighters. Regardless, they're both Top 10 heavyweights who are yet to fight each other, what does it matter which organizations they've fought in?

Come on, Silva's win in the UFC has an asterisk next to it the size of his head. If Silva had just stood there and done nothing It would've been ruled an NC at the end of the 1st.

That said - I'd watch this fight.

I want to see them take on some more proven UFC fighters rather than each other, whats your problem?

Man..Reem would make quick work of him. Bigfoot is too slow for a striker on Reems level.

Actually it would have been a doctor stoppage victory for Bigfoot since the leg injury isn't caused by illegal blows from Bigfoot.

I think Overeem is already booked for JDS once he comes back.

It wasn't caused by any blows. I haven't looked into the rules about this, but if a fighter gets shot by someone in the audience, is it ruled as a win for his opponent? Because Browne's injury was completely random. It wasn't really the result of anything Silva did.

JDS is scheduled to fight against Cain. It's not certain that he'll win, and even if he does, you don't know what kind of medical suspensions he may be facing. He's not scheduled to fight Overeem, not yet.

Browne's injury was caused by his own action. When a fighter injures himself by accident, he forfeits if he doesn't continue.
