UFC best card of the year

I read that UFC 155 is going to be the best card of the year (on paper)

IMO the best card of the year so far was UFC 153 in Rio.
It had a grudge match in Marcello vs. Medadi that turned into a great brawl. It had tuf Brazil winner Rony Jason giving a great performance. Tibau vs. Drinaldo was a tough fight. Diego Brandao (another tuf winner) gave a great performance, as did Sergio Moraes. And this was just the preliminaries. The 6 fights on the main card were arguably even more exciting.

agree or disagree?

Following: Cain , JDS, Werdum, Shogun, Machida, Weidman, Pettis, Aldo, Melendez

Not sure how you are trying to compare a card that already happened to a card which hasn't happened yet?

On paper 155 is better. But 153 delivered so it will be hard to top.

144 was the best card of the year and probably will end the year as the best.

Edgar/Bendo, Rampage/Bader, Hioki/Bartimus, Okami/Boetsch were all good, and Pettis kicking Lauzon into oblivion was amazing.

So far the ones I have enjoyed the most are:

UFC 146: JDS vs Mir: All heavyweight main card. Entertainment from top to bottom. Loved it. Debut of Teixeira, the Varner KO, Cain's absolute demolition of Bigfoot, and JDS making his first title defense.

UFC on Fox: Shogun vs Vera: Loved the prelims with the exception of Davis vs Prado. Swick vs Johnson was excellent. Lauzon vs Varner was a very good fight. I was rooting for Varner after he beat Barboza, but Lauzon was just too good. Machida vs Bader started a little slow but ended in a beautiful KO. Loved the main event. Vera showed heart. Never thought he stood a chance.

UFC 153: Silva vs Bonnar: I thought this card was absolutely amazing. I loved Maia submitting Story. Rick Story is just so unlikeable to me. Davis put in a good performance. Fitch vs Silva was my favourite fight on the card. Maybe because so many were dismissing Fitch? When Fitch got out of that rear naked choke, dam was I pumped. Teixeira showed why so many light heavyweights didn't want to fight him. Big Nog didn't look that impressive against Herman, but well he netted me some credits. Silva vs Bonnar was stunning.

I believe UFC on Fox 5 and UFC 155 are gonna top these cards though!

Anderson Silva
Aldo - Dos Anjos - Mayday - Weidman - Machida - Jones

Me, being a fan of Asian martial arts just like you, have to disagree with you.

It was a great card for asian fighters considering it had a cluster of them, however the fights themselves were not as great.
Rampage vs. Bader on paper was much better then in turned out to be, and it's commmon knowledge. Okami vs. Boetsch was only good in the finishing done by Boetsch.

That's why I loved Okami/Boetsch, I like watching Yushin fight and up until Boetsch stopped him that was probably his best performance in the cage, but seeing Boetsch come out like a bat out of hell was re-freshing, too many times we see guys just sit back and do nothing. He knew he was losing and he came out and he put it on Okami.

Just a great card overall for me from top to bottom. It had everything.
