Looking forward to the rematch, but JDS is just such a bad match up for Cain. He is very hard to take down, and when he is down he is hard to keep there. He's also arguably the best heavyweight striker in MMA. If Cain can make it to the championship rounds however, this fight swings in his favor. I still see a knockout win for JDS though.

I understand why Cain got this shot....because Overeem was caught and the HW division is thin.

But after being KO'd in the 1st. 1 fight in a whole year vs. a fringe top 10 HW isn't worthy of another shot. But I understand why he got it.

They are HWs. It could go differently. But I doubt it.

He'll be able to keep the fight standing and avoid Cain's takedowns and it will only be a matter of time again before JDS rocks Cain's glass chin.
I'm annoyed that Cain is getting an undeserved title shot (who isn't these days?) but hopefully after he gets KOed again he won't get anymore chances. The fight I REALLY want to see is Overeem, which is the only fighter right now IMO who can/will beat JDS.
Cains glass chin ?? Really?.

Diaz..Edgar.. Cormier.. Cain.. Mir.. Overeem.. Jon Jones

This is like Anderson vs. Bonnar in that the underdog has literally no way to win. Cain isn't getting JDS down, and he definitely ain't hurting him standing so that leaves no way for him to win.

Junior took Carwin's shots (whom JDS said was the hardest hitter he ever fought), Cain's hands are comparatively weak. I like Cain, there just isn't any way for him to win. Bring on Overeem already, let JDS have an actual challenge standing.

Pretty stupid argument, if you have a rational rebuttal I'm open to it. Logically I just don't see what Cain can possibly do:

Take him down: couldn't do it against a wounded Junior
Knock him out: Carwin couldn't hurt him, Cain has much less power

what's he going to do? Please, explain

He's going to rush Junior from the opening bell, snatch onto a single, dump Junior onto the mat and relentlessly ground and pound his face in until he starts to bleed. When the blood from Juniors face starts to trickle down his mouth and creep into his lungs, he'll wilt, and before you know it the fight will be over.

Cain is a top three MMA wrestler and he's going to showcase those skills in the rematch.

Carwin nor Cain could do it their first time. I hope you are right though, hopefully Cain comes out like a raging animal and we see Junior pushed to his limits.

Like when Silva was on top of Fedor we saw what made Fedor so hard to beat, he was nearly unbreakable. I for one would like to see how Junior handles Cain getting him down, just don't think it will happen.

Cain comes out like a raging bull every single fight, the lone exception being his loss to Junior. For what ever reason, Cain didn't demonstrate his true skills that night. He was overweight, sloppy and much slower than usual.

All I know is that the real Cain Velasquez who enters the octagon and relentlessly attacks from the get go can beat any HW on the planet. He's freakishly talented and I don't think people realise this yet.

Carwin just isn't a very good fighter.
