I hope it goes a few rounds. I don't buy UFC PPV events, but if I did I'd hope ALL main events go at least 3 rounds, otherwise I might feel cheapened.

Great fights don't end in 64 seconds, as such, I'm hoping unlike the last fight, this fight is great and entertaining and that it goes back and forth.

I have no interest in who wins, just want a great fight.

This is a Lesnar vs Overeem type of fight. If the wrestler can not score the takedown with the following GnP then he is sure as hell going to get KOed.
If the takedown is succesful then the wrestler has the potential to wear down the striker and get the win by stoppage (TKO).
Everything we have seen so far indicates that bringing JDS down is super hard. There are only to guys who can do it in my opinion and thats Cain and Cormier.

Cain is going to make JDS look like his wife.

Yes, NCAA credentials are almost meaningless. This is MMA, not freestyle wrestling. In MMA, where you get punched in the face while trying to grapple, Carwin is just too slow.

You like to use stats, how about you take a look at Carwin's Takedown success rate vs Cain's.

It was Sports Science - a show notorious for extremely dodgy scientific studies. No one - and I mean no one - punches at 2700 psi. The fact that they said Cain did is retarded.
Oh, I agree- that's why I said "real(ish) metric".

And the stats do support Carwin hitting harder than Cain. Cain only has 1 KO with the rest being GNP stoppages. Carwin has three pure KOs and 4 GNP stoppages. JDS freely says that Carwin hits harder than anyone else he has fought or sparred
I only watched the original fight once- how many times did Cain hit JDS? How many times did Carwin hit him?

And I'm pretty sure those insignificant GnP stoppages were caused by things like punches/punching power.

Force = Mass x Acceleration. Carwin is a plodding roid-monster. Cain is much, much faster.

Cain hits harder than Carwin.

Please realize I'm somewhat taking the piss here.
