Even though Nogueira is shot, his downgraded chin is still much better than Mir's. Mir has always had a terrible chin.

I think this is a fantastic fight. I believe Werdum has what it takes to challenge the JDS/Cain/Cormiers of the division, no doubt he'll put a whooping on Nogueira.

Since the fight is already booked, why not look at the positives instead of being so negative about it? The TUF season and the fight itself would draw in many new MMA fans, the fight itself would really put Jones's TDD to the test, or we could once again see Jones put on a dominant display. Enjoy what you have instead of rambling on about it. No need to act like it is the end of the world

Anyway, to be back on topic, I think Werdum is gonna beat Big Nog, but I'm not confident about it.

Well many also believe that Werdum would beat Mir in a grappling match, so he could sub him too, Werdum is also a better striker with a better chin. Can't see Big Nog winning this one at all.

Werdum should get a title shot after he wins.

There are no positives to this. It's extremely, extremely negative. There is absolutely no joy to be had here. This is spitting in the face of the sport. Nothing positive about this matchup except for $ going into Dana's pocket. Which is what is really important in MMA...

I really didn't want to see this fight. Both are very much alike, with similar tools and knowledge about each other. Big Nog won a decision ages ago. I still give him a little edge for his boxing and BJJ, but even knowing anything can happen, I feel that this would go the distance again.
Who knows?

Insane fight. Both have improved stand up. Nog seems to hit slightly harder but Werdum is the better boxer with a lot cleaner form. On the ground, these days, I'd probably give an edge to Werdum, and he'd be the favourite to me in this, but you can't count out Nog and I will love it if this happens.
