Notice how BJ isn't on there...haha...lolz...roflz! To me BJ was a top five. He's the only one that fought three weight classes above his normal weight. Kenflo doesn't count because he worked backwards; MW then to Feather.
*NOTE* Anderson fought at WW conquered, moved to MW conquered it, and moonlights in the HW division. The UFC needs to pay him more for him risking everything at a higher weight class. There is no doubt in my mind Anderson is the only one capable of holding all four titles.
GSP has always fought at WW.
WW - if he truly wanted to he could do it. His skill sets won't change, it's just his conditioning and how his body would react to the drastic weight cut. But a good tester is to compare the younger Anderson to see how he'd fare against the current crop of fighters. I'll tell you he's more than capable of knocking out Condit, Diaz, and GSP.
LHW - He has tremendous power at LHW. Way more than in MW. That's 20lbs of muscles packed on without slowing him down much.
HW - He'll probably come in at 205 and fight the 225ers. It's obvious the wrestlers will smother him so he would need to end it as quickly as possible on the feet or weather the storm. He can take the punches as seen against Bader and Big Nog.
HW would be the toughest because the fighters are so much bigger and stronger. Their skill sets won't even matter. Cuz they can just hold anyone down and grind it out with pure raw strength.
This small circuit fighter once asked me if I'd fight Brock, he said " would you do it for a thousand bucks, but you'd have to fight from the guard." I was like...uh...that would require a six figure deposit. If Brock is on top of you it's unlikely you're gonna get up.
But yah I see what he's saying with Frankie. Unfortunately his losses knock em down the list.
My P4P rankings.
1.) Anderson "The Spider" Silva
3.) LHW title holder
4.) Jose Aldo
5.) Dan Henderson (fought at 185, fights at 205, fought Fedor)
7.) Gilbert Melendez
8.) Mighty Mouse
9.) Vitor Belfort
10.) Roy Nelson
lolz...j/k...maybe DC or Joseph Benavidez.
