He was 225 back in late 2010... Somenbody post up some pics of him then and now.. he's put on at least 15 pounds of solid muscle.
Wow. Apparently you know his weight more than he does.

Who cares if he walks around at 225, or 255- he's the same weight the day before the LHW fight as his opponent, and everything he can put on in terms of weight after that is either water, food, or poop.

None of which will likely provide much of an advantage come fight night.

I don't care how big he is... I just know he's bigger then 225. You can tell just by looking at him.

Jones is the one who gets upset when people say it's his size that makes him so great.

I believe him when he talks about his weight because in the past he has mentioned getting to larger than 230 when he took too much time off. Based on his response it sounds like he says that isn't happening anymore because he has a nutritionist who helps him watch his weight.

Fighters can put back up 50 pounds + in 1 day it seems. Which makes a HUGE difference or people wouldnt he trying so hard to cut a sht load of weight. Being the bigger guy come fight time obviously always helps.

Iv seen a picture that Tito Ortiz posted where he was on the scale the day after the weigh ins and he was in the 250+ range. So its pretty amazing how much weight these guys put back on even if mostly water weight.

I don't care about weight that much. As long as you don't miss it and go through the whole process (cutting all that water from your body must be excruciating) you're good in my book.

Yeah, you'd think a guy would be OK with that sort of thing.

Yeah- it's crazy how much some guys cut, but it isn't accurate to say that, "...being the bigger guy come fight time obviously always helps".

In fact, from what I've seen, if a guy is fukcing around with that much weight pre/post weigh-in, his performance usually suffers because of it, not the reverse.

I wasnt talking about their endurance. Obviously if a guy has no endurance then that plays against him.

If 2 guys have the same everything then its likely the bigger guy is going to win. But a more skilled guy can close that gap.
