Chris Weidman Shows How Hurricane Sandy Destroyed Home

Wow, can't help but feel bad for everyone affected.

Weidman has a good attitude, don't understand all the hate he gets just for wanting to achieve his dream of being World Champ. He's a good man.

Hope he can get that fund set up and help out all the folks who are worse off than him.

Agreed. You can tell he's a nice guy and doesn't have an attitude.

dude seems like a great guy.

needless to say, I'm a fan.

This is a good example of people on these forums that want to hate just to be hating. We only get to see a small piece of what these people are like and many spit venom when they really dont know what they are talking about.

Haters gonna hate.

But I cannot watch this from work so i'll watch it when i get home, but every time I've seen Weidman in an interview or even pre/post fight interviews he's always seemed down to earth, respectful and not full of himself. Respect that, and I too am a fan.

just watched the whole thing... and I'm so sorry for everyone that got beat up by the storm. :\ man, watching that really made me realize how lucky I am, and how I have no right to bitch about trivial things.

It is refreshing to see him doing something other than whining about not getting a title shot. He also says that the water was at waist level but in the video he took on his phone the water is not passed his feet.

He probably wasn't concerned with taking videos once he realized that his belongings were being ruined.

I'm sure at that point it was a mad dash to save as much as possible, not get nostalgic about the situation.
