We will have to agree to disagree then.
Even with you feeling that way, I haven't seen anything that would prove Guida as a bad talent check on Eddie.
Oh and before you say anything about it, yes Eddie does need a talent check.
EDIT: And I do say this as a guy that thinks Eddie is legit and will probably go on to be in the top 5 LWs.

Agree to disagree on Guida.
Now on Eddie. Are you talking about he will be a top 5 LW all-time? Or he will get into the current top 5? I think he currently sits in the top 5. I don't quite understand the "talent check" because, well Eddie has been fighting talented fighters for years.

Kenny Florida might say that. He didn't have a problem ******* clay up early.

Everyone knows the UFC rule, but I'll explain it again.

Unless you are fighting in the UFC, it doesn't matter whose ass you have kicked, it is considered second rate talent.

Eddie is not ranked in the top 5 right now, but if he gets in and does well (something I expect him to do) then it should be a fairly quick process to get him to his title contender fight.

He needs to fight edgar period.
FOTY candidate easily.
when you put two guys with that much heart and technique in a fight, crazy things tend to happen. i know frankie is moving down, but if he could stay at LW for just one more fight, i would want to see those to meet, and it would have to be a 5 rounder.

You know they train together at the same gym for years and have a very close relationship, right?

AmdM-yup, and it doesn't change the fact that to me out of all those fights listed it would be the best one to watch and the one im most willing to pay to see.

It has to be Nate because every fight is better with Nate. I'd love to see him fight Pettis and Frankie too althought that's as likely as a virgin giving birth.
