Who would you rather see Eddie Alvarez fight?
Just thought I'd make a poll and see who you would rather see Eddie fight right now. Don't look it as being tied to any organization, just try to look at the matchup itself.
Trying to do a poll, but not sure how.
Options, Eddie vs...
Gilbert Melendez
Nate Diaz
Benson Henderson
Anthony Pettis
Michael Chandler
Rick Hawn
Donald Cerrone
Frankie Edgar
Gray Maynard

Clay Guida seems to be a pretty good barometer for success.

You have a better option in mind? I voted for Gilbert Melendez.

That would be the worst possible thing the UFC could do.

I'd really love to see the rematch with Chandler. That fight I had tied FOTY with Hendo/Shogun.

I wouldn't argue with that one bit. I'm pumped for Hawn vs Chandler because Hawn has KO power and great balance and take down defense with his Judo. I wouldn't mind seeing Eddie fight either one of those guys.

I think Eddie is still the better fighter and would win a rematch with Chandler.

I'd love to see him prove it. I think Chandler is the real deal, but then again so is Eddie. I personally think Chandler would do very, very well in the UFC and could come in right away and matchup well with guys like Maynard.
But back on point, I'd love to see how the rematch would go.

I picked Gilbert and then read somebody else name Clay Guida and that peaked my interest. Alvarez/Guida sounds great to me.
But still SF needs another decent LW.

I just think Alavarez vs Huggy Bear is a horrific idea personally. Eddie vs Gil is just an amazing style matchup that should be great to watch. Not to mention they have been 2 of the highest ranked fighters outside of the UFC for years now. Just seems perfect to me, especially if SF is going to do only 1 more show.
