If you asked me, I'd probably say Chuck's chin is a lot more faded, being that his losses were more devasting. Maybe Mirko's last 3 MMA fights were KO losses, but he was still able to put up a fight for 3 rounds. With Chuck Liddell, you're talking about someone who couldn't even make it out of the first round in his last two fights. That would lead me to think that If he were to fight again, he probably wouldn't last half a round.

I wasn't comparing the two. Just that Mirko found a way to work with his faded chin by returning to his roots, Chuck doesn't have that option. But you're right, Chucks case is a lot worse than Mirkos.

K1 has some kind of absurd KO percentage like 85 or 90%. And there have been quite a few studies that show the thickness of the glove has little to do with actual punching power. Gloves protect the hands not the opponent. If I had to guess I would say it's because mirko doesn't have to worry about being taken down so his whole game changes.

That's a huge reason. Not worrying about a possible takedown attempt + he can really let his kicks go in kickboxing, no fear on anyone trying to catch them.

I guess it'd be a good retirement fight for the both of them, but I doubt Chuck will ever step into the cage again. My bias aside, I still think Wand gets the w here so long as he doesn't blow his whole wad going for the early ko like the second Franklin fight. He needs to get them senzu beans Hendo and Fhael have been poppin. He's probably not allowed because nobody is buying his story of a low T count though.

Like Wand very much. Ruler from another era. But I think the fact he was so reckless against Leben and got KTFO made him very economic in his strikes. He was so defensive against Franklin last time that Franklin out boxed him all night, except for a brief classic Wand chase that almost finished the fight.
Anyway, It could be fun against Chuck or anyone if Wand displays the old confidence and aggressiveness again.
