This was the best way to go. It's probably going to be a great fight but they don't have enough draw power to be on a PPV. This way more people will see it.

Dodson is definitely skilled, but his getting a title shot so soon shows how laughably thin this division is. It's literally going to be the same four fighters contesting for the belt.

I think you mean how laughable the UFC roster is at that division. There are plenty of talented fighters not yet with Zuffa at Flyweight. There are some very, very talented fighters at that weight. |
