He hurt K1 Hughes with strikes too. Near the end of his career, training with Longo, Serra was a pretty damn good puncher.

But I get your point. For some guys, power is enough.

Oh absolutely. Serra punches viciously, no doubt about it and that served him well. The same to Nedkov.
That loss should make him a better fighter as I expect the same happens to Erick Silva for the same reason. When the guy is undefeated, I believe he is aware of some flaws(as istructed by coachs)but slow to correct them because he is beating everybody, anyway.

I think he would do better at 185.

Damn, why ppl do that? Did he believe in Macau it wouldn't be a test waiting for him? I wonder if this a personal issue or if anybody from his camp would be aware of that?
