Ronda Rousey officially joins the UFC - SF closing in January.

And there's more ... sources say Strikeforce, which airs on Showtime, will be running its last event in January before folding up shop for good.

A rep for Strikeforce had no comment.

Great move if true, Women in the UFC is huge.

I'll wait for another source, and true then that would be a huge step in UFC.

Yeah they announced the final event

Gilbert Melendez vs Pat Healy
Nate Marquardt vs Tarec Saffadine
Luke Rockhold vs Lorenz Larkin
Daniel Cormier vs Sack of Potatoes

Kind of a shame as Larkin really shouldn't get the last shot Jacare should, that would be a fitting final event.
