I agree and I think Hendo's win over Calvalcante is very under rated and over looked for some reason. Rafael is a striking beast, dudes a monster, but no one seems to ever credit Hendo for that win, which was very impressive.

I see Hendo KO'ing Machida in round 2.

Hype job? How can a 41 year old who has been in the sport over a decade be any sort of hype job? What on earth are you babbling about?

He absolutely destroyed Shogun until he gassed in the 4th round, because he is focking 41 years old and doesn't take rounds off. DESTROYED. Last I checked Shogun was a top 5 LHW. Last I checked he beat Machida twice.

Clueless you are.

I see visions of the Page/Machida fight. Which AIN'T NO FUN to me.
News to me, I was under the impression they were 1-1. When did they overturn the main event of UFC 104 when Machida got a hard fought win?

This isn't gun-shy coming off his first loss by KO Machida, what's Hendo gonna do? Rush him and stay in his face? Yeah, like he has the cardio or speed to do to Machida.

His game plan has become terribly obvious over the last fews, inside leg kick/over hand right. It works for him so it's not like you can criticize him, but to think it'll work on potentially the fastest light heavyweight out there, one of the most tactical fighters in the history is asinine. He has nothing to really threaten Machida with other than that or pull a Rampage and put him up against the cage and try to hold him there for dear life.

Henderson will run into a knee or a stiff punch, and his pattern of getting dropped will continue but this time, he won't get up. If Shogun would actually do something besides desperation heel hooks he could probably have subbed Hendo, if Machida gets him down he'll go for something and it should be noted, only three men have finished Henderson, Big Nog, Lil' Nog, and Anderson Silva, all three are training partners of Machida so Machida definitely has some good insight going into this one, add in the fact he's faster, maybe even stronger at this point of the game, and better technically it's gonna be a real tough haul for Hendo to over come.

Dan is great but this a nightmare match up for him.

I'm not sure I'd go so far as to call him a hype job, but Dan isn't nearly as good as most people seem to think he is. He won't beat Machida... he'll probably get KO'd.

I'm not saying Dan will win. I too agree it isn't the best matchup for him.

Just had to spaz out for a minute when a guy says Hendo is a hype train. Makes no sense. Then he acts like he was "slow" vs. Shogun. When it was one of the biggest beatdowns I have seen to start a fight. He just gassed...because he is 41 years old and goes 100mph till he gasses.

How good do people think he is? A top 4 LHW? Why isn't he not "nearly" as good as that? Humor me.

Put Jones, Rashad, and Machida ahead of him. Who else? Hoow is he nearly not that good? What do you have him 9th with no shot at beating a top LHW? When last time out he destroyed a top 3 LHW at the time? You make it sound like people think he is the best LHW out there. No one does.

What is this nonsense?

Common sense seems to be lacking here.

Maybe he will. Pretty bold statement to say a guy who has never been TKO'd/KO'd in a decade of fights will "probably" get KO'd.

Testing positive for roids does hurt. But I won't argue he is still a top 10 talent.

It's a coin toss for me. Not a very good match-up for Dan, however, all it really will take is one punch for him to KO Machida. The question is could he get to Machida, or will Lyoto stay on the outside and pepper him for a UD win (or loss)?

This is a bad match-up for Henderson. I want him to win so bad to see the Jones vs. Hendo fight. I just don't think that he will be able to KO Machida. And I believe that with Machida's elusive style that he'll be able to outpoint Hendo to get the win. Hopefully I'm wrong though.

Never really thought this was a good matchup for Hendo but I don't think a lot of fights he has won were either. I really do want to see it though. Really hoping Machida takes it.
