But if those two offset, it becomes even, and the rest of that round was all Garza.

I disagree, Hominick landed more combos and even took him down. Even Joe Rogan was confused when Garza said he won round 1 but hey it doesn't matter anyways but that was the only judge to give him all 3 rounds

He deserved the Aldo fight though...
5 fight win streak, with 4 finishes.
He's went belly up since the Aldo fight, and I have no explanation for it. He's been terrible since losing to Aldo.

I can see it both ways, honestly, but I think Garza won it still. I'm happy MMA is still subject to judging and debate like this though. MMA and Baseball are the only sports where human opinion still means something

since the 7-second KO it's not looked good for Hominick.

As I remember it, Shawn Tompkins died not too long after the Aldo fight, and Tompkins was a huge part of Mark's life both in training and outside the gym. He lost a trainer & coach who was pretty much like family.

This is true. I know a lot of guys at Adrenaline took his death pretty hard.
I don't think Stout or Hominick have been the same since, which is really too bad.

All points to this. Both of em have dropped fights consecutively. It's a tough situation. You can't leave the camp cuz they're probably the head guys there, so they need to start importing new trainers or fighters. I really think Hominick might get cut after this.
Aldo
KZ
Eddie Yagin
and now Pablo.
It's sad cuz I love those push ups.

Dana didn't sound like he was going to cut him when asked about it at the post fight press conference.

Feel for em, but he's on thin ice though with four losses.
I think the GIF of the night was the beginning of round two with the wild spinning back kick by PG. That was winning!
That's when I knew he was going to win. You could tell he didn't care. He was ready to go buck wild!
