This won't ever happen. The UFC and pretty much all of Stateside MMA likes the cage for obvious reasons, and the ring will be pretty much archaic in a few years. Even Asian promotions like OneFC are switching to the cage.

I love when pride fans tell us what we need to do "can we all agree elbows have to go? And if you don't agree with me I'm gonna whine at you!"

Don't touch me. your side lost stop trying to drag us down with you.

The cage gives advantages to grapplers, while rings give advantages to strikers. It'd mess too many things up imo, and I don't think they should change it.

Both rings and cage will be grabbed to stop a take down. Both have little tricks that can be used and abused by fighters.

The ufc is a cage. It's always been a cage. I could see if the ufc wanted to try some ring fights, but just switch over with out any warning as a new status qou?

try it out on tuff.

UFC absolutely does NOT need a ring. A ring is primarily for striking (Boxing, Kick-boxing, etc...) whereas a cage is good for both stiking and grappling.
