I'm eating spare ribs just right now and there are some similarities in the looks

And to prevent that toe stucking between mats, there are quite some people I know who roll with socks on. Either that or taping the toes before training.

Wish him a speedy recovery. From interviews I've seen, a very friendly, humble guy. Nasty toe injury pictures on here lately.

Damn that does look gruesome. I hope Anthony gets well soon.

You forget that this isn't just some brutal sport where everyones out to kill each other. Its much more like a game of physical chess.-looney liam

I aways wondered how dangerous is o have a toe caught in the net of the fence myself. Silva trippled during his fight against Bonnar, nothing happened, but the potential to have your pinky caught with disastrous outcome is enormous. Maybe 10 inches or so of canvas covering the bottom of the fence would be enough to prevent that.

I remember CroCop giving a story bout how when he was on top of Pat Barry against the fence that Pat got his toe caught in the fence and that CroCop let or helped him (I dont remember) pull it out because they were friends. If it was someone else he said he wasnt sure if he would have cared.

I remember reading a thread on Sherdog a while back by an Australian guy who went to a gym over there and was shocked by how bad it was and how insanely over-crowded it was.

He wouldn't name the trainer but said he was surprised because the guy was a big name and had fought in the UFC. Then another guy chimed in and said from this description I can pretty much tell you all he's talking about Perosh's gym.

Now, I'm pretty sure Perosh gets some alone time to train in his own gym, but this thread just made me remember that story. Now, of course, it being Sherdog the thread just became a bunch of 14 year olds calling the guy a ***** for not 'manning up' or whatever, but I still thought it was a pretty interesting story.

Edit: found it

If this is a problem posting this here let me know and I'll edit it out.
