The guy defended his title in July. JDS hasn't in that span. GSP hasn't in that span. Cruz hasn't in that span. Aldo hasn't in that span. But that is fine. Lets not let facts get in the way.
If Bisping wants a fake belt then just hand him a fake belt so he can feel good about himself.

True enough, I believe Anderson has a solid game plan in place.
Bisping vs Vitor. Jan. 19, 2013 - Winner will get the interim belt.
Weidman vs Boetsch. - Dec. 29, 2012 (Winner fights below.)
Belcher vs Yushin Okami - Dec. 29, 2012 (Although I would have liked to see him face off against Weidman.) Winner fights the top two.
*I can also see Zuffa doing the whole "whoever has the most impressive win gets the shot at the interim title belt."
Enter SF fighters. Luke, Jacare, Tim Kennedy are the top three. I'll throw in Robbie Lawler.
Luke challenges a top tiered UFC fighter to see where he's at then if he wins he moves on to the winners bracket or contends for the interim title.
Aren't you guys tired of seeing "the next contender" get demolished. Weidman is talented, but I've always said he's still too green. If he wins that round robin he deserves it or any of the fighters for that matter.
This will take an entire year to pan out while Anderson Silva hopefully faces off against GSP in the summer of 2013 (Dallas arena) and defends his belt against the interim title holder and UNDISPUTED challenger around new years time of 2013. Thus fighting two fights and defending his belt against a TRUE worthy challenger.

At least Legion makes it known he hates him....

Lol who the hell are you to question me? Check my post history then ive always been in love with this man, im brazilian, Anderson is a god among men, im always his fan but i always call a spade a spade
Ive done this my whole life, doesnt matter of its my girlfriend, my best friend, my family, if you're wrong im going to call you out on it i dont pat ppl on their back no matter what they do just because i like them
Anderson like it or not is still under contract, he still is an active healthy champ so his job is to defend his belt...16-0 yeah thats awesome, ive followed his career way before the UFC and i always thought he was amazing but that doesnt matter, what hes doing is wrong you cant just not fight for a year because you dont feel like it, theres no fighter on earth i would support doing that, i cant just take a break from my job and responsibilites for a year, it doesnt matter that his job is getting punched in the face, thats what he chose and IF hes healthy, wich he seems to be, then he doesnt have the right to do this no matter what hes done in the octagon
The guy is from the city i live in, ill always root for him, but hey...unless this is just some crazy tactic of his, e IS being a bitch

So really he is going to miss one fight and you people are insane. Bisping and Vitor don't even deserve title shots.

To hear his fans tell it no one deserves a shot at him.
Knock out a guy whose been ranked in the top five/ten for about five years? Sorry you don't have a name, beat the Beallator Champ right after that? Nah, you just got lucky, as if it's Boetsch's fault Okami just froze when he came at him or the judges gave him the fight.
Completely murk the number three Middleweight in the world in every aspect of MMA and beat a guy who finished Chael Sonnen who everyone considers the number two Middleweight in the world? Oh wait, you only have 9 fights, or Munoz was overrated remember when he got knocked out by Matt Hamill lolol, when the oh so great Anderson Silva got finished by Takase and Ryo Chonan of all people.....
This guy hasn't earned the right to put an entire division on hold, if he has no interest in fighting Weidman or Boetsch then leave and go to 170, he wants to beat up the smaller welterweight coming off an torn ACL of all injuries but he's completely terrified of a fight with Jon Jones, throwing out shit like "I want fifty percent of the UFC." He doesn't even train with Jones!
It's been bad enough with Cruz, GSP, and Aldo getting hurt, not to mention the Heavyweight title was on the shelf for a whole year recently as well, now we have a perfectly healthy Champion just refusing to fight? I'd love for someone to explain how that works out to me. I bet if Bones Jones wanted to take a year off the Silva nuthuggers would be all over his shit.

A year off? So you are expecting he won't fight until October 2013? Am I reading this right?

Late 2013 is a year yes. He last defended the Middleweight title in July so if he doesn't fight until 2013 that belt goes a year without a defense just because Anderson wants to fight roided up never was Light Heavyweight's and Welterweights.

It is all speculation. People get their panties in a bunch any time Anderson talks. He said he wouldn't fight Chael again because he "didn't deserve it"...he did. He said he would never fight Bones...but said yes, that fight is possible. Lets not get all mad over something that hasn't even happened yet.
Perhaps if someone worthy came to 185 he would fight them. At this point he wants big fights...he doesn't have that many left. All good fighters take "big fights" at the end of their careers. Look at Fedor. Perhaps if Rashad wasn't such a little girl he would shed some pudge and make 185. He was just dismantled by the 205 champ, he is resorting to fight Lil Nog, and he is small for the weight. If he came down, I'm sure Anderson would fight him, he's a big fight.
Instead we have guys like 9-0 Chris Weidman trying to get a shot at the best ever. Is Weidman real good? Yea, but why would they hurry him? Why not build a name first? I was no fan of Brock getting a title shot, but he was a big name.
Condit has been holding the division up for a year now. They did a fake belt fight, he won. He watched GSP heal for a year. The WW fighters "got their hopes and dreams crushed" (my best LizaG impersonation) because Condit didn't fight anyone.
Jon Jones is fighting a 185er who hasn't had a fight....let alone win at 205 in YEARS. Now he is doing a reality show that will take months. Only to fight a 185er. Guys like Gustaf, Hendo, Machida are getting their "hopes and dreams crushed" as we speak. Jones is doing a show (what does he think he is a movie star? Steven Seagal?) and fighting a non 205er when Hendo is clearly the #1 contender and others are making names (Gustaf if he beats SHogun will have to wait 8 or 9 months to think about getting a title shot).
There you have it folks. All divisions have a bunch of crushed dreamers. At the hands of evil champs that aren't doing their jobs!

Your in for such a bad MMA year... Condit is going to get wrecked... Cruz is going to get smashed... And Anderson like usual is going to get what he wants because he is a god among men.

GSP was out for almost a year & Condit is interim champ.
If Silva is out for a year, its possible they'll do the same?
Maybe the winner of Belfort vs Bisping and the winner of Boetsch vs Weidman could fight with the winner holding the interim belt?

Jones is only fighting "Middleweights" because no one wants to fight him.
Where as Weidman, Bisping, Vitor, Boetsch, and Rashad all want a piece of Anderson but no he wants to pick a fight with a Welterweight with a bad knee, the middleweights have to go after Jones because they can't get a title fight in their own division.
Something certainly isn't adding up, if Anderson doesn't feel like there's "worthy" fights for him at 185, then just leave, man up and go fight at 205 let the guys who wanna fight for a World Title and defend the World Title handle that situation or keep being a little bitch and pick on the guys 15 lbs lighter than you.

Cruz isn't gonna get smashed, he tooled Faber and Jorgensen way worse than Barao did and when the time comes Barao's gonna be pouting like a little girl after 25 minutes of getting dominated by the Dominator.
And a God amongst men? Yeah because he only fights favorable fights for him, Leites, Maia, Bonnar, GSP, Cote, Leben, Irvin? Yeah, no wonder he's a God amongst men, he only has four good wins in the UFC and one of them was so pilled up out of his mind he couldn't even fight. Jones already is a far more impressive champ than Anderson.

Perfect point, a fighter is allowed to ask for any retarded thing he wants. It's up to the promoter to tell him hell no.
It doesn't offend me as much as say bisping vs miller for the interim belt.
