It's an argument about how some people think rules are rules and it's not important what the specifics are. To some breaking the rules are breaking the rules. Which is just silly if you ask me.

Carwin is expected to return in February, no surgery needed.

I'll believe it when I see it. As far as I'm concerned, the man is retired.

Give him a low level guy like Hunt or Stipe to ease his way back in.

You want low level you go Pat Barry. Hunt and Stipe might actually be able to win. Barry would stand no chance in hell.

Stipe doesn't have the chin to absorb Carwin's shots and Hunt was subbed by SEAN MCCORKLE and was knocked out by a middleweight.

Carwin handles both.

This made me laugh pretty hard.

And now back to our regularly scheduled program, you know the one about Carwin being hurt...

Too bad he's out. Like someone else said, I always enjoyed the prospect in his fights that he was just one punch away from winning. However, he couldn't hang in there for long with his cardio. I'd like his replacement to be someone that will test Roy's status as a decent heavyweight. Kongo or Hunt are okay prospects, but whoever it is I want it to be a tough fight for Roy. On the other hand, a Rematch with Big Ben would be interesting due to their IFL past.

That is some of the weakest shit ever right there. Melvin can knockout anyone in the World if he hits them square. You want to play some MMAth then Hunt knocked out Kongo who gave Cain fits by dropping him multiple times. MMAth is just silly.

And Carwin can't? Carwin doesn't have bone crushing power? The guy who KO'ed 12 straight fighters in the first round including Gabriel Gonzaga a respected Heavyweight who fought for the title and knocked out Cro Cop and Frank Mir the former UFC Heavyweight Champion and with a different ref, probably finishes Brock Lesnar by TKO?

That's not MMAath that's just a fact, if Manhoef can do it, so can Carwin and if Sean McCorkle can sub him, so can Carwin.

Also, Kongo did not give Velasquez "fits" he hit him twice and dropped him twice and Cain trucked through and continued to rag doll Kongo, literally 98 percent of that fight is all Cain Velasquez rag dolling Kongo, except for the two punches that stumbled him.

Hunt is grossly overrated and his fans are in for a rude surprise in his next fight, especially if he fights Struve.

No I don't think so. Not standing. Hunt is 10x the striker Carwin is.

Carwin could probably take him down and pound him out.

But again maybe he can't, he will have not fought in like 2 years. Old, broken down, never had speed before.

The guy is pretty much done. You can't rely on him to be healthy so why bother? Would make for a good stepping stone for a guy they want to promote. Give Carwin to Cormier.
