Yeah I feel the same way, I even feel a guy like Mike Pierce could beat Diaz, he just has the stiffing control game to keep him down for fifteen minutes but Pierce has never fought anyone as dangerous as Nick on the ground, maybe Rocha? I don't know.
The only fights in the top ten Diaz should have been favored in is Condit or Kampmann, a striker and Condit obviously beat him. If he has to fight Fitch, Koscheck, or Maia he's screwed.

Like I said. Diaz needs a win. What if he fights Kos and loses?
Marquardt? He isn't even in the UFC and who knows if uncle Dana even will take him back.
So how is the division getting all held up when there is only 1 legit contender and that will be the winner of the co-main?
You are telling me people would be mad if Diaz didn't get a shot immediately after he wins a fight?
I'm not saying there isn't any guys that can potentially fight for the title. I am saying as of now there isn't some line. No one is getting held up here. At least in my opinion...and I'm a big Diaz fan. All the divisions have been held up. HW, LHW, FW, BW. All of them.

I didn't say both Kampmann / Hendricks would be in line.
1. GSP beats Condit
2. GSP fights winner of Kampmann / Hendricks in March-April 2013.
3. GSP fights Diaz in June-August.
Diaz returns in Feb, and could potentially have a fight around the same time as GSPs first fight in 2013. Plus, I don't care if Diaz gets a shot after his loss to Condit. They were already going to give him a shot before he fought Condit. Plus, it would sell a ton of PPVs and I want to see that Stockton hillbilly get f*cked up by GSP. He called out GSP, said he was faking an injury because he didn't want to fight Diaz... he's a punk and nothing would make me happier than seeing GSP lock in an armbar and watch Diaz tap.

I understand that you have a nice plan there. But fighters get hurt. GSP fights say Hendricks. Diaz loses to Kos. Then what? Kos gets it?
I mean everyone can have their own opinion. But it baffles me that people would rather watch GSP destroy Kampmann/Hendricks over a SIlva fight. I mean what is 3 or 4 months more of stalling it? Watch GSP fight Hendricks next then one of them pulls out anyway.
The plan is nice, but nothing ever happens that easy. Why not do the superfight while they can? Won't be the end of teh world if Kampmann or Hendricks takes a break. Condit just sat out for 9 months to wait for GSP. Happens all the time.
Barao seems to be waiting for Cruz...
Aldo was just out over a year...
Hendo got hurt and got his spot filled by the 2nd best MW coming off a loss..and he gets to wait until Bones does the dumb TUF show and then recovers from his fight. The winner of Machida/Hendo gets to wait 7 or 8 months until they get their shot whole Bones takes on a 185er...

If based in the video showed, Condit never affirmed what the OP states.

Would love for Carlos to beat Anderson the exact way he beat Diaz just so all the people calling Diaz fans crybabies could finally see how annoying that shit is.

Win or lose, "annoying" is the definition of Diaz trash talking during fights, IMO. He is never only satisfied in get the victory like a sportsman, he needs to openly bully and disrespect his opponents.
So if he and his followers are annoyed by a decision loss that's the best of both words here.

It's funny, when Diaz tried to stand in the middle of the cage with Condit stuff like this happened:
No wonder he didn't want to stay there with Condit.

I actually think if there were no take downs Anderson could beat Condit with one hand tied. Seriously.
Lets see what does Condit do.
- flying knee
- ALWAYS shoots a front teep
- reckless kicks
Anderson caught a low kick from Irvin (HW/LHW) Muay Thai fighter on the very first attempt. Almost did it again with Forrest and with Chael.
Condit is helluve exciting, but too reckless. Anderson would test and KO em when he decides it's time.

I am a fan of Condit's, any of my past posts will prove that.
Condit would lose horribly against Anderson Silva. If it lasted longer than 1 minute it is because Anderson Silva chose to let it.
