Anderson Silva wants GSP & Jones back-to-back
Quote:
Anderson Silva has officially arrived in Montreal ahead of Saturday's UFC 154 event at the Bell Centre, and ESPN understands the Brazilian is hunting not one but two superfights.
Silva greeted the public in Canada on Friday evening, and he will be present for the welterweight title collision between Georges St-Pierre and Carlos Condit.
Victory for St-Pierre, according to president Dana White, will definitely lead to a superfight between GSP and Silva in May 2013, but the Brazilian is not prepared to stop there.
ESPN understands Silva's master plan is to fight St-Pierre at a catchweight of around 178lbs, and then immediately switch the other side of his natural middleweight home to take on Jon Jones.
There is exceptional respect between Silva and Jones, but both men have been made aware of the astronomical figures they would stand to make from a future collision.
At the age of 37, and having more-or-less cleared out the 185lb division, Silva is keen to maximise his earnings from the remaining fights in his career. A GSP/Jones double is his No. 1 scenario, and the UFC is ready to encourage that outcome in order to live up to the promise of making the fights the fans want to see.
It is also expected that Silva will step into the Octagon if St-Pierre wins on Saturday, despite previous quotes to the contrary. However, a win for Condit could yet throw a major spanner in the works.

If Anderson Silva finishes his career by KOing GSP and Bones in succession, I will literally worship him.

Yeh i don't think anyone could ever come close to being as great as Silva if he won both. Hell just to fight TWO super fights in an already legendary career would be damn near impossible to come close to - win or lose.

If those two are the ones he wants to fight in his remaining two fights of the contract, he should just vacate the 185 title so Machida can drop and take it.

That is the most obvious sequence of events. The worse nightmare for Anderson haters, who actually would prefer that Anderson would never take the fight against Jones just to keep on dreaming he is ducking anybody.
So beware, the storm is already on the move...

But "oh my god" Silva doesn't want Bones. He is scared. "oh my god" I'm going to spaz out like a Silva hater and whine.
No his master plan is to probably go down beat the #2. Then go up and beat the who would be the #2 at that point. Then all you focks can't say one word as to who the greatest of all time is.
Lets hear some more crying from people about Silva/Bones. I laugh when both fights happen and all of you whiners realize you acted like little girls for no reason at all.
