Lol i thought this was a joke, Back to the same ol' GSP, he looked good don't get me wrong, but the performance proved to me Anderson is going to make light work of GSP.

It's not just GSP it's his opponent. If his opponents come to fight its always going to be fun. GSP will lay and pray/jab and run if he gets a chance (hardy, kos, shields) but if someone comes to fight it will be good fight, GSP vs nick will always be a great fight because of this.

Yeah, you would think that GSP would be winning all these fights by first round KO seeing as how he only fights the weakest fighters of the WW division ... what? You say that the champ only fights the best fighters in the division? That they have all earned there shot at the champion, some of them even picked because they have extraodinary skills GSP has not really been tested againt .... and it is THOSE fighters he breaks like school girls getting an outbreak of zits on prom night? Hummm ... I stand corrected then.

Dan Hardy and Jake Shields are clearly the elite of the elite.

Come off it. Dan Hardy never deserved a title shot, and that is the ONE fight I actually think GSP should have finished - but Shields is certainly no slouch. He was coming off some pretty impressive wins in SF, including a one sided beatdown of Dan Henderson (he also beat Okami and Condit in the same night... come on, give him his respect).
Shields gets too much hate. I know his UFC run hasn't been the best, but people are going to see what he can really do now that he's back at MW.

Maybe not, but did Hardy or Shields get beat any worst than Alves, Penn, Fitch? ... GSP fights the way he fights, whwther your style is 'first round KOs' or '5 round easy UDs', if that's how you beat the elite and the jobbers, then who's to say what opponents were 'elite' or not?
BTW: Shields didn't become "un-elite" until after he got his butt handed to him buy GSP ... yeah, probably not the heavly favoured in that fight, but he was the SF champ, had defeated Condit, and was undefeated to that point, which is a better record than Nick Diaz would bring to the game ... is Nick 'elite'?
