Does anyone know if its true that stitching up face cuts leaves an uglier scar that is more likely to re-open in the future.

Is it just a myth?
Unless you use a chainsaw to make the stitches I don't think it's a real thing.

Poor stitching can leave scars, but if it's done properly it will greatly reduce the scar tissue left behind. Take Rory for example, they did three or four layers of stitching to make sure they left as little scar tissue as possible.

I was not entertained by the main event overall. I think both men have fought much, much better in the past. I think both suffered from ring rust and neither had the amazing cardio both are known for. Most of the fight was pretty boring IMO. I don't think GSP even threw 1 strike that was capable of finishing. The man just refuses to take any risk post Serra.

GSP threw some bombs from top position that could have finished or set up a finish but probably nothing while standing.

He threw some elbows with some force. Nothing that would put anyone to sleep unless it landed just right. But IMO those were elbows with the intention of causing cuts. They were kind of short elbows, nothing that had any risk involved. Which is what GSP has had a problem with lately IMO.
