What an amazing fight. GSP's face looked more and more busted up as the night went on. Best shot I could find of GSP in the aftermath is the post fight presser

In spoiler tags because it's quite a large picture.

It wasn't until the post fight presser that I really saw how much damage GSP took.

If judging was scored on damage alone, this fight could have been a draw, maybe even a loss for GSP. Condit was pretty bloody but GSP was a mess.

I was pretty amazed at how much damage Condit was able to do, especially being on his back for most of the fight.

GSP was pretty beat up. I haven't seen him that beat up since BJ Penn 1. Carlos brought him one his best fights ever. And Anderson looks like he's leagues away from St.Pierre.

That was an awesome fight. Really entertaining and both were going for it...and you can see it in their faces.

Great fight.

I need to rewatch KZ/Poirier again to decide which I like better for FOTY

Codit did the most damage to GSP than all of GSP's previous opponents.

If Dana really wants a fight? He must give Condit the 2nd title shot, a 2nd rematch is perfect to see.

I like this fight better because KZ/Poirier was much more one-sided.

Fitch/Silva is still frontrunner though, IMO.

I notice they stitched up the cuts on GSP's face.

Does anyone know if its true that stitching up face cuts leaves an uglier scar that is more likely to re-open in the future.

Is it just a myth?

Seems completely counter intuitive, so gonna go with myth.. Stitching will reduce scar tissue and thus will be less ugly and won't open up as easy.

but I'm no doctor..
