The last fight where Rampage actually tried was his final rematch against Wanderlei Silva, since then he's just been phoning it in and collecting a paycheck. At this point I think even Stephan Bonnar could beat his ass.

Predictions? The fight will suck hard, and Rampage will find a way to lose. Which is too bad, cause I loved all his fights up to and including the final match against Wandy. It's sad that he seems even more unmotivated these days than a semi-retired BJ Penn.

In all honesty, I'm really looking forward to seeing him get clobbered in his last fight.
The more I think about it the less I think this is Rampage's last fight in the UFC.

He's wanted Forrest and Shogun for ages. UFC know this. They'll use one of those names as a carrot to keep him in the UFC. For sure the UFC won't want him knocking out a top LHW prospect only to fight elsewhere.

I think Rampage takes the next fight, and I think he's motivated for it, especially if money is his main motivation. A win will only boost the earnings he takes from his next fight, UFC or elsewhere.

I know you're new here, so welcome to the board. But once you post a comment, if nobody else replied yet, you might not want to post another comment back to back. Try using the edit function, so you don't end up having double or triple posts. Just a heads ups because if you keep doing that, a mod will eventually say something.

I think Page is a funny Dude... But he has not looked good since he Knocked out Chuck Liddel...

He got a gift win over over Machida, and then fighters like Jon Jones and Glover get to help make Names off him... I can say that about Shogun as well...As in he's been washed up for awhile

OP - Use multi quote please. Double (and triple) posting is not allowed on this forum. Ive merged your posts.

As for Rampage beating Tex? Cant see it happening TBH. Rampage is done. Old, uninterested and lacking any kind of game plan other than to hope the other guy stands with him.

I really doubt Texeira will want to stand with Rampage for too long. Terrible idea. Yes Glover got careless in the Maldonado fight which he admitted to. He will not make the same mistake against Rampage. No chance!

I see Glover coming into this avoiding the power of Rampage, taking him down and exposing Quinton's weak ground game. Everybody talks about Glover's stand up, which I will admit is good, but I think his ground game is actually his main strength.

It works for what he needs, what more do you want. Not many do that to Kingsbury, Manuwa hit him with everything and he kept in there... Fabio Maldonado one of the best boxers in the division and Glover landed everything he threw.

I expect Rampage to either

1) miss weight
2) get injured
3) get his ass kicked and then cry that x fighter didn't stand directly in front of his hooks.

Rampage can go toss himself off a bridge for all I care. I have lost all respect for the guy. His attitude toward the UFC and his fans is disgraceful.

I think that this fight(if it happens) will be pretty much determined in the first minute. Where Glover can really lose the fight is with his neves. This is a huge step up in competition and press coverage. If he thinks that he must go out there and KO Rampage quickly, then I could see him leaving himself open. But, If he's smart and conservative and picks Quentin apart with jabs and lead hooks mixed with leg kicks and TD attempts, I see him either frustrating Rampage to make a mistake and KOing him or getting an easy decision. This is quite a cheezy repetitive statement in this sport but it really applies here, the first person to make a mistake will lose.

What he's needed so far was to fight low level fighters. He isn't technically that great or intelligent. Maldonado isn't the best boxer in the division. Neither of these guys have proven themselves at top level of the division. Rampage may seem declining and unmotivated but he's gone through WAY more quality competition and done well and has rarely if ever been bested purely in boxing.

If Glover comes in sloppy like he did against Maldonado Rampage will make him pay.
