Somebodies is simply a plural noun. The way we see family > families.

Somebodies in this case would mean like, 'oh, your a nobody, those guys, they're somebodies". As in they're people of note, they're famous.

Chael seemed pretty cool during the tuf vlog with jones too

Im guessing he would come right out and say "i only act like a tool to sell fights" but then noone would believe his bullshit

He actually says the opposite to that. But yeh by all accounts it seems like he is an ok dude

Still not a fan of the pretend hype, doesnt do anything for me. Maybe its to cover up the fact that his style doesnt sell itself enough

It wasn't a contraction, it was bad grammar. you should have used "you're" in place of "your" that's why it was ironic.

just not my cup of tea. prefer a fighter that doesnt need to talk trash to make me want to watch

also prefer fighters that use striking/submissions to win rather than just holding the other guy down

Chael is the best at selling the fight simply because he is so convinving. There are some fighters who try and talk trash and they absolutely SUCK at it. But the way Chael presents it and the intensity he delivers it with makes people listen.

You are right. The irony was plain to see.

I don't doubt for a minute that Chael is a nice guy. Its quite obvious the character he portrays is all bluster. Hype. And hes evidently quite apt with it.

the most annoying use of grammar is the fact that about 90% of people dont know the difference between to and too.

Man 5 year olds know the difference. I'm sure its a typo, otherwise these people need to get a honey badger to maul their hands. They should be banned from scribing or even orating.
