Urijah Faber vs. Vaughn Lee for UFC 156 according to TATAME.
Article is translated from Portuguese:
Quote:
Urijah Faber against already know who will have the chance to return to the path of victory between the Roosters Ultimate.
As TATAME found in issue # 156 of the event, the buzz Feb. 2 in Las Vegas, the "California Kid" will face a challenge against the Englishman Lee Vaughan
In his last fight, Faber had a chance to win the interim belt category at UFC 149, but eventually succumbed to the game Renan Barao and was defeated in a unanimous decision sides.
Less experienced that former WEC champion, Lee has only three fights in the UFC. In February, he performed well and achieved the biggest achievement of his career to finish Kid Yamamoto at UFC Japan To boot, the Englishman still won the Submission of the Night bonus.
But in his latest appointment, Vaughan Lee could not resist TJ Dillashaw and was finalized in the first round of the fight, which happened at UFC on Fuel TV 4 in July. Interestingly, Dillashaw is training partner of Urijah Faber at Team Alpha Male, which are trained by Brazilian black belt Fabio Goofy.

This is going to be one of the better cards in a long time "if" it holds together. Not just on name value, but on actual entertainment..
On a side-note looks like Erick Silva just got bumped from the PPV to be the headline or co-headline of the FX broadcast (Kongo vs Struve depending)
Main Card
Featherweight Championship bout: Jose Aldo vs Frankie Edgar
Heavyweight bout: Antonio Silva vs Alistair Overeem
Light Heavyweight bout: Rogerio Nogueira vs Rashad Evans
Welterweight bout: Demian Maia vs Jon Fitch
Bantamweight bout: Urijah Faber vs Vaughan Lee
Fx Card
Welterweight bout: Erick Silva vs Jay Hieron
Rumored bout : Cheik Kongo vs Stefan Struve
Faber will draw more PPV buys, where putting Silva on the Free Prelims will give him exposure to the casual fan..

Vaughan Lee may be one of the better looking dudes on the roster but he doesn't need to be fight Faber at this point. He's really living on that Yamamoto win even though KID is clearly shot.

Faber takes it. I think Cruz, Barao and Faber are the top 3, and then there is a big drop off in talent.

I'm a fan on Vaughan Lee but this is a huge step up considering he lost his last fight.
I see it as the UFC looking to cut Lee thats why he is in there with Faber.
Will back Lee of course but cant see the win.

So, he gets tapped by Dillashaw....and then he gets Faber next, so it's pretty clear that....
A - He has some serious dirt on someone and they want him gone.
B. - The UFC is high and they think Faber can beat Cruz(lol, almost died laughing there) or Barao and this is his one win before he's back in title contention.
C. - Sean Shelby is a ******* idiot who shouldn't have a job.
Either way, this is the worst thing I've seen in terms of match making since Chad Mendes vs. Cody McKenzie....this should look a lot like it.
But if by some chance, Vaughn Lee beats Urijah Faber, well....I really don't have a response for that.

What are the odds going to be?
As much as I dislike Faber, all in on him!

This fight is pretty much Faber's to win. I honestly can see him finishing Lee. But in Lee's defense I will say this he was not supposed to win against Kid Yamamoto and he did. So whilst I don't think he will win here. I think he may be a tougher test then we all think.
