Fights that were painful to watch
For every amazing fight their is one that makes us turn away from the television in disgust or or flat out disappointment hoping we never have to see it again for the rest of are lives. I dedicate this thread to those fights. Each one of us has that one fight we just hate so just go ahead and get it out in the open.

For me, the most painful fight to watch was Kendal Grove vs. Evan Tanner. It was 15 minutes of Evan Tanner trying to bring Kendal Grove to the ground and failing miserably. This was a man that ate Phil Baroni, Robbie Lawler, and David Terrell for lunch. Even when he lost he didn't look as bad as he did in the Grove fight(not even when he got KO'ed by Tito Ortiz). Sadly, this fight was a testament as to why Evan Tanner needed to retire from the sport.

Royce Gracie vs Matt Hughes was very painful to watch. I am a big Hughes fan but at that time believed into the R.Gracie hype of being a very tough test for Hughes. I remember Royce coming halfway into a card to the octogan to announce this matchup. Hughes totally destroyed him.

Also Silva vs Leites because it was supposed to be a classic Striker vs BJJ matchup but it was just horrible to watch.

Not UFC, but Silva/Henderson in PRIDE was tough. Huge fan of Silva, and watching him eat that elbow on the ground was rough.

Mitrione/Junk on TUF was possibly one of the worst, most pathetic fights I've seen. I probably could have won a decision against both of them that night, and they both outweigh me by a good 130 lbs.
