Riddle is just.. I don't even know how to say it without sounding mean. The guy has very limited skills to say the least. It seems like the UFC gives him favorable match ups to keep him on their roster, and then when he has any sort of step up in competition (barely a step up at that), he loses. Then he goes back to winning complete gimme fights by decisions mostly. His only real finish is against an extremely inconsistent Damarques Johnson, a guy who isn't even on the UFC roster anymore. His other finish is by DQ so..
He might win this fight because Che is a striker with a questionable ground game, but I'm hoping that Che manages to catch him early. Riddle having terrible striking and not very exciting grappling doesn't make me not a fan alone, it's just that his run is also milked. The guy has 10 fights in the UFC with (hard fought) wins over mostly completely unknown fighters or TUF one hit wonders while losing to C level competition in the process. If he loses his next fight? It's okay, he'll fight a John Doe or two after that and win a decision against both to maintain a spot on the roster.
Haha, end rant. I may be the only one with that line of thinking, but we'd have to agree to disagree.
That being said, I see Riddle winning by a decision, or Mills willing by a KO/TKO stoppage. Hopefully Mills can avoid the grind.
