Gustaf being real big is such a delusion.
The guy is tall, so is Diabate. He is tall, slender, and has t-rex arms. He isn't that big at all. He is tall.

Should be an interesting fight...i dont buy gustafssons hype but this is a great stylistic match up for him and shogun is nowhere near what he used to be, i predicted he would have a bloody war with vera and i see the same thing happening here
BUT even though shogun is pretty much just a brazilian zombie hes still always dangerous, i see him getting lit up many times during the fight, getting busted open but landing some crazy punch that drops Gustaf and wins him the fight...he will lose the battle but will win the war^^ |

He is big. He's very fast to go with it, covers a lot of ground with great footwork.

Gustaf needs to let his fighting do the talking, Shogun should be the only fighter he's focused on. He's got a lot of hype at the moment, he'd be wise not to buy into it and think he's going to walk through this fight. This will be a good showcase of where he is in the division.

Yes so Diabate is taller than both Jones and Gustafsson. That also shows all the difference. Diabate having a striker reputation and being that tall still got dominated standing and on the ground against Gustafsson.
Only Phil Davis and James Te Huna have been able to take Gustafsson down.

I think the dude is pretty big. Look how thick he looks here:
Gus might be tall but he isn't exactly skinny. The dude has a big bone structure as you can see from his hips in these pictures, besides being fairly muscular. Very strong core.

All I see in those pictures is a really tall skinny dude. Same thing with Anderson Silva. People go on about how big Anderson is, but to me he just looks like a tall, skinny mofo. |

Shogun could only be so lucky. This would be the absolute worst strategy possible for Gus.
I predict he will try to 'Condit' Shogun to a decision. Whether or not he will be able to avoid the one shot kill for 15 minutes is another question entirely.
