Thanks for posting. I tried to record it on my DVR but most of it got cut off because of the NFL post game show.

I liked this and I've been very happy with the promotion for this fight, they had ads constantly for the fight during the Panthers game.

Yeah they have done a good job of advertising on both FOX and FX for this card. Both channels had college football on Saturday and both had advertising for FOX 5 during the games.

Before the Vera fight, Murilo Rua refused to work with his brother because he thought he slacked off in training and could try harder. Now before this fight, he's saying he'll hold the belt again. Shogun himself said he expected better for the Vera fight and needs to prepare better.

I think Gustaf has the edge but he'll have to fight the perfect fight if Shogun's right when he says his best is yet to come.

Yeah I watched some College football this weekend and saw it on FX too.

I expect a good rating, 4/5 million people watching which would be up from the Diaz/Miller and Shogun/Vera + Machida/Bader cards. This needs to deliver and so does the Johnson/Dodson card which is in January, if those two cards can deliver and rebound from the bad start(quick finish/not so exciting card) I think the FOX deal can really start to kick in and bring the UFC to the next level, the last two cards were really good but they need to quit going up against Boxing and the Olympics and stuff like that.

I found the Rory bits outside the gym REALLY difficult to watch. Not sure why but I was cringeing the whole time.

I think the ratings will be solid and I expect them to rise as the event goes on. It's the first week with no major college football and it's still early in the NBA season and the games don't really mean much. So it should have solid numbers. I think this number will be between JDS-Cain and the last FOX card.
