I think Siyar destroys Dan. I don't see Dan taking this fight. Too risky...

Regardless of who he beat, to say he is a borderline UFC fighter that should be cut is nonsense.

Wins
Mike Swick
Akhiro Gono
Duane Ludwig
Amir Sadollah
Marcus Davis
Rory Markam
Loses
GSP
Carlos Condit
Anthony Johnson
Chris Lytle
Yoshiyuki Yoshida
Forrest Petz
Pat Healy
I don't think he's a bum, but if he were to be cut he wouldn't go on a 9-0 rampage and rank as a top ten guy. Is he that much better than Matt Riddle, Sean Pierson, and Brad Tavares I don't think so. And I don't know if he's better than Saffiedine, Burkman, Harris, and Mein.
And yes I pick Siyar by KO

This fight would be awesome. I hate Dan Hardy, but after his last fight, I'll admit that he does have decent stand up. And..., Siyar is a killer. I'd love to see this fight simply because it would be a war standing.
However, this fight won't happen. Well, not because of this twitter challenge. It's too respectful. If Siyar really wanted the fight, he should've said something like, "Dan Hardy, you're a bitch. I wish you'd let me beat your ass already, bitch."

This fight isnt happening guys.
According to a few posts on Dan Hardy's twitter he isnt taking the fight reasons he didnt really go in to. Apparently something to do with not having the time to train for the UK card because of a lot of work/travel commitments or something?

Brad Tavares is a Middleweight.
Forrest Petz and Pat Healy were not UFC fights, infact Pat Healy was Hardys 4th fight ever and took place 8 years ago, i guess you know this but i question why it's relevent?

I keep forgetting Phil Baroni's run in the UFC was at MW and not WW.

Because he's both won and lost to fringe UFC caliber fighters which are what Petz, Healy, Yoshida, (and Sadollah, Gono, and Davis).
By no means do I disparage the fighter, I enjoy Dan Hardy's fights and I feel like he has a place in the UFC. Personally I feel like the UFC Welterweight division should be treated like almost separate company and carry 75-100 guys as I feel like the weight class is absurdly deep.
The problem with him as I'm not 100% sure he's one of the 50 best WW's in the world and that his talent seems to be prelim card level not main card level.

Yes he's a great draw, which is one of the reasons lower card guys are calling him out. I would love to watch him fight a Paulo Thiago, Brian Edbersole or Matt Riddle for five rounds and I'm little bummed that we aren't seeing more of those style fights.
