I think he's got a future at Middleweight personally, he's 23 and he already walks around at 200 lbs, that's more than GSP whose 30/31. I doubt he'll fight GSP too, he looks amazing with them, he's got the jab down, his striking looked great, I think that's a real relationship he has with Georges and Firas but the kid needs to lighten up and drop this complex he's got, GSP's a fun guy and jokes around, Rory takes everything a little too serious.

But if he really wants him give him Carlos, I'm sure my dude Condit wouldn't mind handing him another beating.

Wow... some people need to grow up if doing a shuffle offends them.

That is a bad business move unless Rory actually wants to fight GSP. If he doesn't, all they did was knock off a #1 contender if Rory wins, or destroy a huge up and comer if Hendricks wins.

Rory and GSP may be friends, but the world still goes around. If they both want the same thing, one of them must step down. Good fights and legit rankings are more important to me than their friendship.

I wasn't offended, but I thought the shuffle was pointless. The trash talk before the fight was totally standard stuff, and it was a fight he was winning easily, what is the reason for the shuffle? To show how unafraid he was of BJ? Well you did pretty well at that already by beating the crap out of him for 3 rounds, I don't think we needed the shuffle to figure it out.

I agree but if Rory wins and then doesn't want to fight GSP, it is bad all around. We don't get to see the matchup that needs to happen and the UFC misses out on the Hendricks/GSP fight.

And it may be more important to you, but that doesn't mean it is for them. Look at how long Fitch and Koscheck have danced around each other.

Unless it is a guarantee Rory will challenge for the title, it has the potential to be a complete waste of a fight.

He should get Condit and this time he will not only put a beating on him, but he won't gas. The first time they fought he did't have a real training camp. Now he is up their at Tri-Star and you can tell a world of difference. He will put a serious beating on Carlos. Last time Condit had a hard time with him when he was Raw.

Rory said in his UFC fan Expo that he thinks Anderson Silva is the Greatest Fighter that ever lived. I'm sure he looks up to him and you could see allot of him in the ring last night.

What's Rory Mac's plan?

I really don't like Rory Mac but the guy is very good and could easily be a star. It just seems like right now he is buying time. A rematch with Condit would be logical, and if Rory won, he would deserve a title shot and more. But that wouldn't happen if GSP was still champion. Would Rory be better off moving to MW if he could get an instant fight with Silva? Should he continue to buy time until GSP finally loses and/or retires? Is he wasting away years? You can argue that he's super young, but things can happen at any given moment (including injury). I think it's overall a very unique situation.
