Could Lombard jump ahead.

My question is, if Lombard comes out Friday and wins in spectacular fashion will he be next for silva?. Gsp is fighting Diaz, so Anderson as of yet has no opponent. We have seen a lot crazier thing happen involving title shots so does anyone think this could happen?.

If Dana can make a quick buck off it, yeah he probably could, wins and losses clearly don't matter when it comes to a title shot anymore.

But in reality, Weidman, Boetsch and his wave of ****ery, Bisping, and Belcher(for now) are all ahead of Lombardo after he shit the bed against Timmy.

Hector looked so subpar in his last fight. Couple that with his lack of anyone good on his record and I just don't know what to think of him.

I think if he wins impressively Dana could spin it like he always does to make a fight happen.

I doubt Lombard will get the next crack at the title. Even if he wins in impressive fashion in his next fight.

I think he would need an incredible performance with a couple other guys getting injuries for that to happen. He really needs 2-3 solid wins with finishes to cut the line. His hype dropped fairly quickly, especially since your casual fan still has no clue who Bellator is even after seeing the commercial on Saturday.

No, I think the list of contenders is pretty clear

1. Chris Weidman
2. Vitor Belfort
3. Michael Bisping
4. Luke Rockhold
5. Tim Boetsch
6. Hector Lombard
7. Jacare Souza
8. Mark Munoz
9. Alan Belcher/Yushin Okami winner
10. Brian Stann
11. Alan Belcher/Yushin Okami loser

Now if Anderson Silva decides that he's going to take a break and they are going to do an interim title then...

Belfort/Bisping vs Boetsch - Title

and then Lombard will be in the mix, but he would likely be behind Weidman/Rockhold

I highly doubt Vitor or Okami ever get another title shot while Anderson is champ, even if Vitor prison-rapes Bisping he probably isn't gonna get one.

No way The Barbarian is behind ******* Luke Rockhold...Tim has way better wins against better comp. He is at least number 2 in line. Vitor got straight up raped in his title fight and Bisping hasn't beaten anyone of note at MW.

As for the OP I don't care if he beats the fastest KO in UFC history he doesn't deserve a shot.

Vitor is in the title mix, Dana has said Vitor needs three or four wins and that was before he stepped in to fight Jones. If he beats Bisping he's likely going to get that shot. Or another possibility is Anderson is going to take a year off from the division and Vitor will be fighting for an interim title.

1. He lost to Lombard
2. He was being schooled by Okami

Luke Rockhold is the Strikeforce champion, his win over Jacare is impressive. The biggest thing is Anderson Silva is willing to fight Luke(Vitor and Bisping), Tim Boetsch isn't on Silva's level money wise.
