I dont see Condit winning versus an ever improving MacDonald if i am honest. I think Condit will get TKOed here.

This will be a 3 rounder and co-main to GSP vs Diaz...
Why Canada?? Simple.. $$$$
The ufc is going to Montreal (mar 16), Toronto (sept 23 I believe), and likely Edmonton, Likely in the summer or late fall..

Both fighters have improved lots since their last fight, I'd say Rory is the over all more improved fighter though and Condit seems to have weakened mentally IMO. After watching the GSP fight a few times, Condits tentativeness on the feet seemed to carry over from the Diaz fight, that's not good.
In a three rounder I have Rory, five rounder, Condit.

He probably doesn't have a say, like it was mentioned above, GSP is the only real Canadian fighter out there that is headlining worthy so why not build up his predecessor? If Rory thinks it'll help him fighting in Canada again so be it.
Carlos bashed his brains in once before in Canada, I'm sure he won't mind doing it again, it's what he does. |

Rory challenged Carlos to a rematch in Canada. Carlos accepted. Dana booked the match. Is there really any reason to get your panties in a bind? If it bothered Carlos anywhere near as much as it bothers some of the people on this forum I'm sure he would have said 'No'.
I'm sure Dana would have booked it in Canada regardless. Rory is a cash-cow waiting to be tapped. Dana knows this.
