I think it'd be pretty even and the fact that a guy who fought for the title two years ago is even with Matt Brown is terrifying.
Probably give it to Hardy, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Unless Hardy has really stepped up his submission game I see Brown taking it at this point.

You can say Hardy fought for the title but Brown just beat the guy that Hardy beat to earn that title fight. That said Dan is a much more versatile striker and I think that is what would lead him to victory if this fight took place.

Matt Brown by submission. Striking would be even but Hardy wouldn't stand a chance on the ground.

Be a good fight. I'd take Hardy via UD though.

I don't think Hardy is that much more a versatile striker... He has a vicious left hook and a few straights down the pipe. Matt Brown surely throws more kicks and elbows.

In my head Hardy is still a higher level striker, but Brown certainly has more ways to win this fight. I think I'd still imagine Vegas opening the line at around -170 or so for Hardy. This is not to say Hardy is in fact the better fighter, but that even at that line, they would get action on both sides. Therefore, I may be grouped into the cattle that overvalue Hardy. I wouldn't mind seeing this fight made.

Brown by submission and unlike GSP he would break Hardy's arm if he didn't tap. As for striking Brown is much more versatile like someone said all Hardy has is that left hook. Where did this thinking that he is an elite striker come from? Rogan must of said it so it must be true-please.

Since the title fight he is 2-3 with his only wins coming against Duane Ludwig and Sadollah he isn't exactly setting the WW division on fire.

Chris Cope, Luis Ramos, Wonderboy, and Mike Swick isn't exactly setting the world on fire either, I'd say they're about even but Hardy has better technical skills on the feet.
