At this point I see Bendo wiping the floor with Melendez.

I agree that he is not a finished product, but man you guys are overrating Chandler. He is a very solid fighter but he wouldn't be a top 5 UFC LW let alone champ right now.

His whole career thus far is based off a good performance over Alverez...another highly overrated fighter. Chandler started gassing half way through that fight...that won't fly vs. the Pettis', Bendo's, and Diaz's of the UFC. Chandler is well-rounded but does nothing real well.

Alverez would get dropped and finished in the UFC. Chandler would lose decisions in my opinion.

As for Gil, I'm not sure. Everyone wants to jump off he wagon because many feel Thompson won that last fight. I don't think he would beat the champ right now either. But would't mind him getting a shot.

No he has solid wins over Held, Woodard, Pitbull and Alvarez. Those guys are no push overs. Just because they don't have the 3 magic letters on the gloves doesn't mean they aren't talented.

It isn't about 3 magic letters. None of those guys are that good. All would get cut out of the UFC if they were signed besides Alverez.

He beat a lot of guys he should have beat and had a good showing vs. the 1 legit LW he fought.

You can't tell me Lloyd Woodard is a legit LW. Pitbull's best win ever is Razor Rob that took him 3 rounds to finish. That or Batman who came out of retirement. Gono? I mean come on. Don't be one of these guys who says "oh just because they aren't in the UFC, you don't think they are good".

No, they aren't very good. They aren't even top 30 LWs in the world. Its just the truth. You can only fight who you are given, but lets no annoint Chandler boss hog because he dropped a very droppable Alverez a few times and beat some 30-50 ranked fighters.

Chandler is a good prospect no doubt. But right this second he would get beat by the top UFC LWs.

Just checking Fight Matrix now because they are really the only ones with long rankings.

They have Woodard 48th and Pitbull 56th.

So don't act like I am some guy who thinks anyone outside the UFC isn't good. That is just an annoying arrogance.

Anyone that fights in the UFC, SF, Bellator is skilled. Doesn't mean they are legit top of the food chain fighters.

I completely disagree. Any one of those guys would be a favorite to win any recent TUF show and all of those guys are better then guys you see on the undercards of PPVs. How many times have you seen those guys fight? Even if you won't take the time to do that, have you seen some of their resumes? All guys mentioned are talented and wouldn't even be close to the worst fighters on UFC roster. Assumptions and ignorance, seems to be a trend here toward Bellator.

lol Melendez had trouble with Josh Thomson, Bendo would do whatever he wants to Melendez and then force him to drop to FW.

Of course they would beat many of the TUF fighters. TUF sucks and produces hardly any quality fighters anymore. Efrain won the damn season and was cut after a handful of fights. So I don't see your point there.

I have watched Pitbull fight many times. Assumptions? They are focking ranked around 50th best LWs. What assumptions. The only assumptions here is you assuming I have never watched any of these guys.

This elitist attitude is annoying. I retract my statements. Lloyd Woodard and Patricky Freire are real good LWs. They have many good wins under their belt. Sorry for thinking they were lower level LWs. You proved me wrong by telling me I don't watch their fights. Great point.

Fight Matrix uses a formula and is not an accurate site to get your rankings. If you think skll wise they are really the 50th best LWs in the world then you are a moron.

You are a moron because you don't even read or comprehend my posts.

I said they aren't top 30 LWs. Then I said I went to Matrix and they were around 50th. Does that mean I think they are 50th? No. I said they aren't top 30 which I stand by. No where did I say I am going by Matrix. I used it as a reference.

We won't know. As long as these guys are in Bellator you will say they can hang with good UFC LWs. I will say they can't. We don't know.

Are their some prospects that could one day challenge in the UFC? Yea. But right now none of those guys in my opinion could hang with even average UFC LWs like Tibau or Etim. Pitbull or Woodard would both get handled by either of those guys in my opinion.

Listen I like Bellator and watch most of their events. And I don't agree with you. These fighters have little to do with Freire or Woodard but Ben Saunders and Heiron were big deals in Bellator tourney's. Yet Ben Saunders couldn't even beat Dennis Hallman in the UFC. Heiron went to a split with Askren...their boss hog at 170 and he will most likely get cut once Erick Silva gets rid of him.

Doesn't mean the LWs we are talking about can't be good UFC fighters down the line. But their is a difference between Bellator competition and UFC competition. I have watched Freire fight many times and believe he would beat the very low level UFC LWs and eventually cut when they start to gve him better guys.

Just my opinion. But don't act like you are big and bad because you watch Bellator. I do too. Then tell me I'm making assumptions...when you are the only one making them.
