If Aldo beats Edgar his next fight might very well be at LW. And I would love to see Aldo at 155. That said I don't want Edgar to go 0-3 in 2012 (although he should be 2-0 right now).

I honestly don't see much of a case for Frankie winning the 1st fight with Bendo. It wasn't all that close IMO where you could make that argument. However I think Frankie won the last fight, which was much closer. Which put me in a weird sport with Frankie. He was in a rematch I felt he did not deserve but then IMO he was screwed over in the last fight. So he won a fight he shouldn't have been in. Not sure how I'm suppose to feel about Frankie now lol

Respect your position, Hit, but those are funny standards, IMO.

1st off, I believe Edgar will win his upcoming fight against Aldo.
No doubt Aldo has the power to knock people out, Edgar heart and chin is unquestionable. Take Edgar/Maynard 2 for example, the way he survive and recover from those punches from the 1rd is outstanding. Aldo on the other hand look to have awful gas tank when going up against likes of Hominick and Florian make me think that Edgar will take this match via UD or in late rounds.
As far as bantamweight division goes, if Edgar is not too drained from the larger weight cutting and perform like he does in LW, who knows. He could be the 1st man to whole Championships from 3 weight classes. Outside of Cruz (if he return 100%) giving Edgar a test of speed and Barao catching him with a submission, no one in that division I can see threatening him yet.

I was just looking into MY crystal ball and saw a scenario where Edgar catches the featherweight title and then without defending it immediately drops to bantamweight to capture the title... and then flyweight.

I looked into my crystal ball and I seen Aldo vs Edgar.
Frankie got hurt badly and generally was getting his ass kicked but he showed a lot of heart and did just enough that when the decision was read everyone on forums everywhere went ape shit and Frankie was given an immediate rematch.

Oh well. Edgar won't/can't beat Aldo. So..., him dropping to Bantamweight will be no more than him being chased out of Featherweight..., after 1 fight.
