I haven't seen anything him wanting on Japan. Last I heard he had shoulder surgery that prevented him from fighting on the China card and there was no time table for his recovery. It's been awhile since I have seen a real update on him.

Probably this. I think they believe he will make an interesting and marketable challenger for whoever wins between frankie and aldo. Mendes would murder him (and probably anyone not named aldo or frankie in the division) and he would go to the back of the line, so they probably dont want to make that fight. |

Did Mendes get in bed with Dana's wife or something? Maybe I'm missing something but he loses to Aldo then gets fed these B level fighters? The guys got skills.. Give him a fight

Mendes got schooled by Aldo, there's no interest in a rematch, so he needs to pull for Edgar to win if he wants to be relevant again. |

Manny is a slight step up, but I really think they are afraid of him beating credible contenders. I was hoping to see him fight Siver next, but no luck there. |
