Former Pride champion, Strikeforce champion, and current UFC light heavyweight contender Dan Henderson has fought 37 times, with 29 wins and eight losses.

Despite having said previously that advanced age has affect his performance in the cage, Hendo's fitness level is the envy far younger athletes. In November 2011 for example, he beat Mauricio "Shogun" Shogun in a brutal five round battle.

At UFC 157 in February he fights another Brazilian - Lyoto Machida - with the winner being next in line to challenge fpr the belt. Win or lose, he says he has four more fights before retiring.

"I have to fight a couple more years," said Henderson. "I have at least two more fights ahead of me next year, so I guess that would make at least two more fights after that."

Hendo always said that one purpose of his trip was to win the UFC belt, it would be one of the few remaining for your collection. Today, however, he says the goal at Ultimate changed a bit of focus and it will not get upset if you have to retire without the title.

"My goal is not the UFC belt, it is to keep winning," he said. "The belt is a motivation, it is something I want because I think I can win, but it isn't everything."

I despise the use of TRT for sports usage, but the true is that i wish i could take that and improve my overall life quality. I'm 33, age is starting to pay it's dividends :P

I love Hendo and I have no problems with TRT if done correctly. If you are honest with the comission and dont pop way high, Im cool with it. Its simply not illegal. What makes me think guys like Allistair and Cheal (who I <3) are full of shit about there TRT usage is that if you are using it correctly and legal as to the NSAC, why are you popping dirty while guys like Hendo use it and have never had any issues?

If they get an exemption there level can be whatever they want.

I kind of wish he had mentioned whether or not he had planned to go back to 185.

In my opinion it has to suck to be a 205er right now. Jon Jones has that division on lock down, and I believe he will for several years... one by one he slowly make people think it's a "weak" division, just like Anderson did 185... both thoughts are ridiculous by the way.

With Anderson talking about 10 more fights and Jon maintaining he has no intention of moving to heavyweight permanently for several years... I see the same names at the top of the list for years.

Point being, I'm glad for Henderson that he has put the "winning a UFC title" into the sidenotes of his story. And I'm being serious, that isn't trash talk.

Henderson isn't good anymore, and I believe Machida will expose him. I know this is a massively unpopular opinion, but based on what I've seen from him lately I'd say he doesn't have it anymore. He lost to Jake Shields who is a natural welterweight, he got pummeled before KOing a shot Fedor, he gassed in a sloppy fight with Shogun who also gassed and isn't great anymore (see: struggling to beat Vera), and all of a sudden people think because he's on a winning streak and he's back in the UFC he's great again.
I'm not buying it, and Machida will expose and FINISH Hendo.

So you don't know what TUE is?

Exemple:
If a doc give Fael a exemption for 10/1 level and he gets caught at 15/1, he's ****ed.
But if a doc gives him an 20/1 and gets caught at 15/1, he's OK.
So the level doesn't matter at all as long as he gets a TUE wich they conveniently "can't" disclose.
