Should Jamie Varner have had a point deducted?

Surely you guys know why i'm asking this...

I do know that spiking a guy on his head is illegal and not only that it is also a very dangerous thing to do.
He could have broken Melvin's neck.

It wouldn't have mattered in the long run but a case could have been made for it.

I'm still more puzzled by their homosexual like embrace after the fight when Guillard made a gun shot symbol to him at the weigh ins.

When somebody is on your back its hard to know what is going on, not like it was a piledriver.

Roflcopter 12-30-2012 03:40 PM

Spikes shouldn't be illegal anyway.

Toxic 12-30-2012 03:46 PM

Technically Varner wasn't in control of Melvin's head so it isn't a spike.

I'm pretty certain he knew Melvin had his facing downwards considering the position of the legs. The spike was intentional imo.

No, it was awesome. Melvin could move his head. It was no different than someone getting dumped on their head or Boetsch throw of Heath. It happens. It was awesome.

If Alex Shelly can do an Air Raid Crash in TNA, this should be allowed.
