Sometimes these things happen in MMA.
Actually, it always happens in MMA, no one stands by anyone, and when a guy wins a rematch everyone always knew he would win and the first fight was a fluke and blah blah blah. Also when you're last fight was an impressive win or even just a decent win, you're unbeatable and no matter what no one can touch you and you have no weaknesses. Unless you beat BJ Penn or Frankie Edgar in which case you just won because you're bigger and the other guy is just a warrior who wasn't motivated to destroy you enough so he kindly let you kick the living shit out of him... rematches.

He only gained 1 or 2 kilos but that's because he exchanged fat for muscle.
Fat is the most efficient reserve of energy a body can have,

I think its just the tan in those pics that makes the muscles look more defined because of the shadowing

He looked a little bulkier but I wouldn't necessarily attribute that to his lack of conditioning... I would more say Cain's right hand was the biggest contribution.
